A word from our experts

If you don't believe us about paper, great stationery and the impact of the written word, read the words of Malcolm Gladwell (The Tipping Point, Blink) or Jeffrey Gittomer (The Sales Bible, The Little Red Book of Selling). It is a fact that the written word on a great piece of paper has a profound impact on the recipient.

Use Your Manners

Say "Thanks". It will do more to help your business that anything else you can do. Speak it and write it indiscriminately. Companies spend huge amounts of money to win over their customers. Why not take five minutes and write a great, concise thank you note to that customer? When that envelope hits their desk, the paper, your words and the time you took will leave a lasting impression on them. more than any dinner can. Your competitor sent the quick email and got it out of the way…what an opportunity to distinguish yourself and your company.

The Missing Link

For the life of us, we can’t make sense of the following picture. Corporation X is vibrant, growing and fully committed to moving forward. It advertises, rents appropriate (if not ridiculously expensive) office space, entertains its customers, spends hours and dollars perfecting and implementing its “brand”. It hires a great photographer, copywriter and web designer to put forth a killer web site. When it comes to designing and producing the stationery components, they go cheap. They rationalize, stating that “It is an electronic era and no one writes letters anymore”. Rubbish. What they miss is the opportunity for a complementary impact. What they get is an immediate disconnect with their potential customers.
